Ingredients
- 1 free-range boneless ham
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup wild turkey American honey bourbon
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 heaped tablespoon grain mustard
- 1 heaped tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ham: Remove the rind by gently peeling it off. Score the ham in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut too deep.
- Make the Glaze: In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey bourbon, apple cider vinegar, honey, grain mustard, and Dijon mustard. Heat on high until it simmers, then reduce the heat to let it simmer down into a consistent glaze.
- Apply the Glaze: Generously brush the glaze over the scored ham, ensuring it seeps into the cuts. Repeat this process three to four times.
- Cook in the Traeger: Place the glazed ham in the Traeger at 130 degrees Celsius for about three hours.
- Slice and Serve: Once cooked, pull it out, slice it open, and marvel at your beautifully glazed free-range ham. Enjoy the festive spirit with a taste that's both succulent and flavorful.
