Ingredients

  • 1 free-range boneless ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup wild turkey American honey bourbon
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 heaped tablespoon grain mustard
  • 1 heaped tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ham: Remove the rind by gently peeling it off. Score the ham in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut too deep.
  2. Make the Glaze: In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey bourbon, apple cider vinegar, honey, grain mustard, and Dijon mustard. Heat on high until it simmers, then reduce the heat to let it simmer down into a consistent glaze.
  3. Apply the Glaze: Generously brush the glaze over the scored ham, ensuring it seeps into the cuts. Repeat this process three to four times.
  4. Cook in the Traeger: Place the glazed ham in the Traeger at 130 degrees Celsius for about three hours.
  5. Slice and Serve: Once cooked, pull it out, slice it open, and marvel at your beautifully glazed free-range ham. Enjoy the festive spirit with a taste that's both succulent and flavorful.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from The Meat Merchant family to yours! May your day be filled with joy, laughter, and, of course, delicious food.
